Attorney Bill Durrenberger has concentrated his law practice for over 35 years in the areas of trusts and estates. His work in these areas includes the following:
- Preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents
- Assistance with title transfers and designating the correct beneficiaries for life insurance, IRAs and other retirement plans, annuities, and the like
- Administration of trusts, both before and after the death of the trust owner
- Administration of decedent’s estates in probate court
- Estate, gift, and income tax planning and preparation of the corresponding tax returns
Bill has written numerous seminar papers and other publications on trust and estate topics. In addition, he has lectured extensively to attorney groups and the public. He is an active member of the Kane County Bar Association’s Estate Planning and Probate Committee.
Bill works with clients who have varying needs and concerns, including parents with young children, middle income clients, and clients with high net worth for whom estate and gift tax issues are important. Much of his time is spent assisting families and beneficiaries of deceased persons.
